His aim was to make people know that bartenders do more than pour drinks. He believed bartenders in America deserve to have a glass raised in their honor. National Bartender Day was created by the spirits brand Sailor Jerry. Bartenders also keep an eye on everyone to make sure they remain safe while drinking. They are temporary friends everyone appreciates. Bartenders go the extra mile to listen, give advice, joke around and provide an excellent shoulder to cry on.
